Wooohooo! Last week, during a public hearing, the Frisco Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve STUDIO Architecture’s design for the 23 unit workforce housing project at 619 Granite Street in Frisco, Colorado! The project is a joint venture between the Town of Frisco and CDOT.
As one planning commissioner put it, STUDIO Architecture produced “a wonderful design to address a dire need for affordable housing in the community.” Another commissioner commented, “you really did listen to us, and you’re held to a different standard when the Town is involved and under public scrutiny.”
STUDIO Architecture is ecstatic to help create a project that reflects the ownership’s vision and is responsive to Frisco’s architectural character. It has been a pleasure to achieve their goals of affordability, livability, and sustainability. We are excited to see this project soar!
