Shay grew up in St. Louis where she learned her passion for the city and its sports, watching the Cardinals and Blues. After graduation from the University of Arkansas, Shay fell in love with the Ozarks and stayed another 10 more years practicing architecture in Fayetteville Arkansas. Missing the city, she finally moved to Denver Colorado to have the mix outdoor activities and an urban environment. In her free time, she can be found with her dogs, hiking, kayaking, or killing it in a volleyball game.
