Yesterday was field trip day and the entire STUDIO team went over to check out progress on the Palo Park Affordable Housing project. Palo Park broke ground last month and it was great to see the all the work being done around the site. Specifically:
- Formation of grade beams and foundation walls
- Back-filling and fine grading around new hydrants and water meters
- Placement of sanitary and storm sewer piping in several locations
- Testing of the fire service lines which were charged earlier in the day
We also observed surveying, drilling and the placement of rebar and pouring of the caissons at the future Community Center. Stay tuned for more progress reports.
