Resident Deadheads Tim and Ryan, along with their better halves, were in the crowd as Dead & Company hit Folsom Field last weekend for a two-night stint.
Jamming to a mix of Grateful Dead classics like China Doll, Dancin’ in the Streets and Bertha, along with blues covers like Howlin’ Wolf’s Smokestack Lightning and Willie Dixon’s Spoonful, the crew couldn’t have been happier.
“These shows have been something we have been looking forward to since before we even moved to Colorado and we were not disappointed,” said Ryan.
“They still manage to keep the magic alive with the help of John Mayer and the new, younger guys. Both shows were absolutely phenomenal…the playing was nearly flawless. And it was cool to feel like I was transplanted back into 1970’s Boulder for a weekend.”
