On Saturday, November 12, STUDIO Architecture pitched in and helped out at the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity build day on their Wonderland Creek project, 3694 Paseo del Prado St. in Boulder.
Chris Russell, Carley Fazzone, Wesley Stockton and Jessica Sapinoso teamed up with the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity crew for a full day of construction on the four houses being constructed. Also taking part in the build was Chris’ wife, Melinda Russell, Jessica’s fiancé, Justin Burks, and a team from Made Advertising.
The STUDIO crew bonded as they tackled a host of different tasks throughout the day, including siding installation while being harnessed to the roof (nobody fell), painting, building columns and using power equipment (no amputations).
Reports are that everyone had a great time, enjoyed sneaking copious amounts of donut holes and can’t wait for the next build or opportunity to wear work belts.
