Azura Memory Care’s new 40 suite community in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, designed by STUDIO Architecture, will open this month!
STUDIO’s team worked closely with Josh McClellan, CEO, and Matt Lyons, Azura’s Director of Development, over the past two years to design their state of the art, flagship assisted living building that specializes in memory care services. After completing their Kenosha North expansion in 2015, a 22 suite addition to their existing community, STUDIO quickly picked up the conceptual design of Azura’s new ground up building in an affluent suburb of Milwaukee. The building is divided into two wings with separate living, dining and activity spaces. The center of the building is reserved for the community’s primary gathering space and will host education and exercise programs for residents and the local community. A large courtyard was created to encourage outdoor exercise and activities.
STUDIO Architecture is currently working with the NexCore Group on their first Transitional Rehabilitation Community in Columbia, Missouri and anticipates construction on their first building to open in late 2017.
