We are thrilled to share a new project that we have on the boards! We will be working with the Town of Frisco and the Colorado Department of Transportation to bring new workforce housing to the Frisco community.
Centrally located on a 0.58-acre parcel at 7th and Granite in Frisco, CO, the project will provide joint workforce housing for CDOT and Town of Frisco employees. Though in the early conceptual design stage, the multi-family development will house approximately 20 units, with a mixture of single, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units.
We are always excited to use our skills to positively impact people’s lives and to help communities achieve their housing goals. This project, however, holds an extra special place in our hearts.
Managing Principal Jeff Dawson shared, “This project is a very exciting opportunity for us, and we’re honored to be a part of the team. Frisco is my family’s second hometown. My wife was raised in Frisco, and her sister still resides there.”
Furthermore, Andrew Zdechlik, a young designer on our team, grew up just a few blocks from the project site. His father Jon “Zeke” Zdechlik was an advocate for workforce housing when he was on Town Council years ago. After his passing in 2015, we feel a bit like this project is a continuation of Zeke’s work, and we’re exceptionally proud to be a part of that story.
