The Colorado Building

The Colorado Building is a historic structure in downtown Boulder. As a result, its remodel and rehabilitation has been subject to a great deal of scrutiny by the city’s historic preservation board as well as the community at large.

STUDIO’s design includes complete replacement of the exterior window wall facade, remodel of the main entry lobby and common lobbies at each floor, extension of elevator service to the previously not served penthouse floor, and design of interior tenant spaces. The remodel work transforms the building into an efficient Class A modern office building working within the framework of the historic style.
