Greenwood Village, designed by STUDIO Architecture, is an affordable housing development in Iowa City, IA, that sets a new standard for accessible, family-focused living. The project consists of 187 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with two large amenity spaces at either end of the community, offering residents ample opportunities for recreation and social interaction.
STUDIO varied the building’s height between two, three, and four stories to reduce the scale of the structure and integrate it into the existing neighborhood. Unit entries along the main road improve the streetscape for pedestrians and enhance the building’s connection to the community
