Groundbreaking of New Affordable Townhomes in FORT COLLINS

March 17, 2022 Paul Vincent

STUDIO Architecture and TWG Development along with community and key partners broke ground on a new affordable townhouse project in Fort Collins Colorado. The team gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking and commemorate the start of the $19.5 million affordable for-sale townhome neighborhood, located at 3620 Kechter Road.

STUDIO is ecstatic to have designed this affordable housing project, and we are looking forward to seeing the future homeowner’s move into their new residences. Throughout the design process, the site plan was modified to respond to and compliment the property’s natural surroundings. The design and scale of the townhomes were carefully chosen to be compatible with the surrounding neighborhoods. STUDIO has always been dedicated to creating designs that are based on our partners vision and neighborhood context. STUDIO Architecture is thrilled to be a part of this project that will benefit future generations of Fort Collins community with affordable townhouses in perpetuity.

The Project will be 54 units that will allow homeowners to purchase a permanent and inexpensive home as a result of this construction. Each townhome will be built with an attached garage. The secured garages will be EV ready and enhance the livability of the units for the homeowners.

Construction on the new Kechter Townhomes is planned to in March and be completed in Summer 2023.
