On April 11th, a new chapter began for affordable housing in Glendale, Arizona, with the groundbreaking ceremony of Unity at Glendale at 4751 West Glendale Avenue. Studio Architecture is committed to designing spaces with heart and purpose, and the Unity at Glendale project embodies this commitment.
STUDIO designed the community-centric project featuring 105 units that range from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The design took careful consideration of both form and function to craft a living space that’s not only aesthetically pleasing but also rich in amenities while being cost effective. The building’s modern facade is complemented by warm stone accents and reflects its Southwestern location inviting residents and guests into a welcoming atmosphere. Unit living spaces prioritize functionality, efficient use of space, and comfort. Each unit’s balcony provides a personal open-air retreat for residents to savor Arizona’s warm climate and sunshine.
The Unity at Glendale project is designed to be a hub of activity and comfort for its residents. The clubhouse is expected to be the heart of the community, with on-site leasing and a community room for events and gatherings, fostering a sense of togetherness. For families, a playground offers a safe space for children to play and socialize. A swimming pool caters for all ages, providing relief from the Arizona heat and a place for leisure and exercise. The inclusion of a dog park reflects a commitment to pet-friendly living, ensuring that all members of the family, furry ones included, have a place to enjoy the outdoors. These amenities are thoughtfully planned to enhance the living experience, promoting a vibrant, connected, and inclusive community atmosphere.
